A handmade button crafted in France
Since 2009, Manucréa buttons have been entirely handmade in the workshop in Romans-sur-Isère, France.
Each design is created using the traditional polymer clay cane technique. Different colours of polymer clay are assembled to form a design that runs through the entire cane. The cane is then gradually reduced before being sliced into thin sections to create each button. After baking, each piece is drilled and carefully inspected before being offered for sale.
This artisanal process creates a precise and durable design while preserving slight variations in shape, colour or size, making every button unique.
