This model is entirely handcrafted in the Manucréa workshop in Romans-sur-Isère, France, using the traditional polymer clay cane technique. This process creates the design directly within the clay before slicing, producing a precise, durable pattern integrated into the material. Although this technique allows the same design to be reproduced, slight variations in shape, colour or size may occur. These subtle differences are the natural signature of genuine handcrafted work.

A handmade button crafted in France
Since 2009, Manucréa buttons have been entirely handmade in the workshop in Romans-sur-Isère, France.
Each design is created using the traditional polymer clay cane technique. Different colours of polymer clay are assembled to create a design running through the entire cane. The cane is then gradually reduced before being sliced into thin sections to create each button. After baking, each piece is drilled and carefully inspected before being offered for sale.
This artisanal process creates a precise and durable design while preserving slight variations in shape, colour or size, making every button unique.
The characteristics and qualities of a polymer clay button
The colours and details of this Green apple button design are integrated directly into the material during the creation of the polymer clay canes. This technique creates a durable pattern, with colours that maintain their brightness over time and resist both light exposure and washing. The green colour of the fruit, the natural shades and the details of the design are not painted or varnished: the decoration is entirely created within the polymer clay itself.
This button features two sewing holes and is approximately 3 mm thick.
